If you are like us, you are also missing your climbing routine more than the commute to work. Setting up a homework station is easy as long as your Wi-Fi works well. Climbing though is different. Our drive for it is beyond staying in shape and buying some new training equipment is not an alternative. So the question is: How can you keep your climbing routine when your favorite gym is closed? Where should you climb in a time of social distancing?<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInUp”]\n

We do have an answer to those questions but this story is for someone who just stopped worrying about his climbing routine and won a Walltopia Home Climbing Wall<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n

The lucky winner is Matthaios Valsamidis<\/strong> who showed us more than his passion for climbing. What we see in his story is how hard staying at home can be for people who used to be physically active. Sure, a good sense of humor can be in handy but it doesn\u2019t make it much easier.<\/p>\n

A climbing wall though, we know, will help! And we can\u2019t wait to see Matthaios and his friends taking advantage of the great Greek weather and keep climbing from his home.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed all of the contest\u2019s entries and we had a hard time choosing just one. We do hope though that all participants had fun while shooting the stories as during those days we need more of it, the efforts should have been worth it.
