This is the first investment of the\u00a0China-CEE Fund in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8em;\">\u201cWe are happy to welcome partners who share our passion for the product and\u00a0<em>who can drive value beyond money\u201d<\/em> said Ivaylo Penchev, CEO of Walltopia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8em;\">The partnership between Walltopia, BlackPeak Capital and the China\u2013CEE\u00a0 Fund aims to support the company\u2019s impressive growth and innovative\u00a0 amusement products. In 2012, Walltopia has expanded its portfolio of products\u00a0 and services towards the larger amusement and active entertainment market.\u00a0 The investment will also increase capacity and support the global roll-out of\u00a0 Funtopia, an amusement concept for indoor climbing for kids, which has already\u00a0 been launched successfully in Bulgaria, the U.S., Canada, and Israel.<\/p>\n<h4>About BlackPeak Capital<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8em;\">BLACKPEAK CAPITAL IS PRIVATE EQUITY CO-INVESTMENT FUND INVESTING IN HIGH-GROWTH BULGARIAN COMPANIES.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8em;\">BlackPeak Capital is a co-investment growth equity fund established under the JEREMIE initiative in Bulgaria. The Fund has a dual role of investing and supporting Bulgarian firms in their global expansion plans and attracting private co-investors as a way to stimulate the private equity industry in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<h4>About CEE Equity Partners and the China-CEE Fund<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8em;\">CEE EQUITY PARTNERS IS THE SOLE INVESTMENT ADVISOR FOR THE CHINA-CEE FUND, WHICH HAS CAPITAL INVESTED BY THE EXPORT-IMPORT BANK OF CHINA AS WELL AS CEE INSTITUTIONS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8em;\">China Central and Eastern Europe Investment Co-Operation Fund, a private equity fund with main office in Warsaw managing a total of USD 435 million has become a minority investor in Walltopa Ltd, advised by CEE Equity Partners. The Fund was established by China Exim Bank in partnership with other institutional investors from the CEE region to capitalise on investment opportunities in CEE countries. The objective of the Fund is to identify and partner with dynamic businesses and together contribute to the vibrant growth of the CEE economies whilst providing good returns to the investors.
