7 Down, 7 More to go – Boyan Petrov Summits Makalu

On his mission to conquer all eight-thousanders in the world, Boyan Petrov summited Makalu on 23.05.2016.

With his ascent to Annapurna earlier this May, Boyan now has 7 summits of the highest mountains in the world and is halfway there on his project “14×8,000”.Boyan was the fastest one of all climbers in this summit attack at the end of May. He left the base camp last and came back first. He was one of the few who did not use any oxygen bottles or sherpas.

This is the second summit over 8000 m. for Boyan on this trip to The Himalayas this Spring. On April 30th he added one of the deadliest peaks on the planet to his achievements – Annapurna. Boyan will have little time to gain his strength back, as next week he is off to Pakistan again to make an attempt on Nanga Parbat and Gasherbrum II.

As a title sponsor, Walltopia will happily continue to support him in any way possible in his mission to summit all 8,000 meters and over mountains on Earth.
