CWA Summit 2023 is just around the corner and we’re excited to be a Summit Sponsor again. This year the biggest annual gathering of the climbing industry professionals in the USA is taking place at David L. Lawrence convention center in Pittsburgh, PA. Visit our booth and check out:

You can also test out Climbmat’s flooring samples by stepping and jumping on them or you can use them for a chair to hang out and let us tell you more about our development process.
Apart from the conference hall hours, we’re psyched to invite all attendees to a couple of additional special events sponsored by Walltopia!
Opening Night Rooftop Party

Where: Convention Center Rooftop
We’d like to invite all CWA attendees to an opening night soiree.
Join us on the convention center rooftop for a cocktail or two, good music and climbing talks overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline. Just climb up the stairs (or take the lift) to the top of the conference location and enjoy a nice drink with a view. Okay, we don’t necessarily need to talk about climbing. Other preferred topics are: rock music, cats, biking, Star Wars and world travel.
Ladies first!
The hour right before this (7-8 pm) is reserved specifically for all women of the climbing industry. All female CWA Summit attendees are invited to jumpstart the Opening Night party at the Womxn’s Cocktail Hour, at the same place – on the rooftop of the convention center, sponsored by Walltopia.
Bloc Party sponsored by Walltopia, Iron City Boulders, Rock Candy Holds and Mammut

Where: Iron City Boulders
Walltopia has teamed up with Iron City Boulders, Rock Candy Holds and Mammut to throw a big party for all CWA attendees and Iron City Boulders members. Join us on Thursday, May 18 in taking over the whole block around Iron City Boulders.
Half Step Collective has set us up with some awesome music at the gym (@chalkdinosour) and live music at Spirit bar next door, with a nightcap DJ set (@DJdigitaldave). We’ll have THREE food trucks in the lighted food truck tent as well as beer from the neighbors at Coven Brewery. Climbing Business Journal’s GRIP Showcase will also be taking place at the gym that very same evening.
This party is FREE to attend for all CWA summit attendees and ICB members.
Transportation is provided from David A Lawrence Convention Center to ICB for the event. Take the designated shuttle and don’t count your drinks!
P.S. Prepare to drink a lot of coffee and skip the early morning workout on Friday.

P.S. In fact, Pittsburgh is Walltopia USA’s home base (no, we did not trick CWA Summit into arranging it there, it was a lucky coincidence!).
